All fine art prints, notecards, calendars, etc. are created using the highest quality materials and utilize the highest quality, most professional printing methods.

FINE ART PRINTS

Fine Art Prints are never printed by a budget printing service such as Costco, WalMart, Walgreens, or even at a local professional photography printing lab or camera shop.

Each fine art / giclee print is manually hand-printed as opposed to being printed on automated, batch equipment. Each print is individually monitored and if it does not meet our strict requirements, is is reprinted. The fine art / giclee prints are always printed on the highest grade fine art photographic papers using the highest quality pigment inks. This ensures accurate color, excuisite detail, realistic saturation, excellent neutral reproduction and brighter colors. You will see excellent reproduction, brighter blues, cyans, purples, and reds. Don't worry about our fine art / giclee prints fading. The standard archival rating of the paper and inks we use is 100 years for home display and 200 years when placed in dark storage.

FINE ART METALLIC PRINTS

Kodak Professional Endura Metallic paper is extraordinary. It has a unique glossy pearlescent surface. Fine art prints on this paper can look truly spectacular. Endura Metallic offers natural looking tones, sharp details, and beautifully saturated colors. Endura Metallic paper uses a patented combination of film and laminate layers that result in a striking, 3-D type of appearance on an ultra-bright background. The 3D effect adds dimension, depth and interest to the subject. It makes bright, vivid colors almost glow. The pearlescent, metallic sheen makes color pop with intensity. The effect is sometimes described as "colored chrome on paper." In addition, it is strong - resistant to tearing and curling.

Most people think metallic prints look spectacular, but some people do not like them - they're not for everyone. Unfortunately, metallic fine art prints cannot be properly displayed on this website. The effect is in the paper and its reflective surface and it is very hard to properly display that effect on a monitor. You need to see it to appreciate the unique beauty.

It's also not for every type of image. Because the print is so sharp and crisp, it might not work well on an image that is inherently soft or diffused.

IMPORTANT NOTES about metallic prints:

- metallic paper works better with larger prints. 8 x 10's look fine, but the effect is appreciated more in larger prints.

- Metallic paper is best for color prints. Black & white prints are not recommended.

FINE ART BLACK & WHITE PRINTS

We also print our own black & white fine art / giclee prints because of one simple reason: we have not found a professional lab that is capable of producing the quality we demand. We use an Epson Professional grade printer that is evaluated as producing the finest quality prints. We use only high quality professional papers. We have undertaken this task ourselves because it is the only way to guarantee that you get the best and most beautiful fine art / giclee print.

FINE ART GICLEE PRINTS

Our Fine Arts Giclee Prints are museum-quality prints. As is true with the black & white prints, we have not found a professional printing lab that is capable of producing the quality we demand. All of our giclee prints are printed on gallery-quality, professional fine arts rag and/or acid-free archival papers using the most advanced pigment ink technology. The lifespan of these prints are 100 years plus, and these prints exhibit no visible signs of fading. They are truly an investment that can last a lifetime.

FINE ART GALLERY WRAP CANVAS PRINTS

All of our prints, both color and black & white, can be printed on a beautiful, textured, canvas medium. The canvas prints can be shipped to you to be mounted, stretched or framed, or we can stretch and frame them for you.

When we do the work, the canvas prints are stretched and wrapped around a premium fir wood and stapled at the back. The premium fir is drier than pine and less likely to warp. The stretched / framed prints are ready to hang.

FINE ART / GICLEE PRINT & CANVAS COATINGS

You can choose to have us apply a coating to your fine art / giclee print for the perfect finish. The coatings are water-based and can be applied to color or black & white prints as well as canvas prints. The coating adds a gloss finish and provides additional scratch, abrasion and UV resistance. The coatings stay flexible even when stretched.

FINE ART NOTE CARDS

Beautiful note cards in sets of 6 or 12. The note cards are blank inside which allows maximum space for writing personal notes or greetings for any occasion. The use of actual photographic prints on these note card sets (as opposed to 4-color press printing) guarantees that each note card is of the highest quality color print. They are constructed of heavy white card stock . Each folded card measures 4 1/4" by 5 1/2". With envelopes.

FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHIC CALENDARS

Wall calendars are made with 12 beautiful pictures of North Carolina. Press printed with 100# thick cover stock. Two sizes available: 12" x 18" with the spine at top, and 11" x 8 1/2" with the spine in the middle. Each day of the month has space to write info, notes and events.
